The White Rabbit!

Because he is sooo very special to me (and Alice!), I wanted to give a special post to the White Rabbit wonderfully made by our own Debie Lyons from

http://piskies-and-poppets.blogspot.com/

I've taken him from all angles, not only to show off all of his perfection but, sadly, to practice my photography skills. I cracked open the camera manual this morning and learned a few things from the basic section. Later, I'll move on the "advanced" section. Apparently this little camera has the ability to take fabulous pictures.....now it's up to the person behind the lens.

We'll see......

Later

Tabitha, I've just been speaking to Debie and we've been talking about The White Rabbit. I think he is one of the best sculpts, Debie has made. He is truly magnificent.
The pictures are lovely by the way.Fabulous Detail on his little jacket. Just make sure you use the Macro button when photographing minis..xxxx

Yep, Deb, learned about that macro button this morning. Not only does this camera have a macro mode for the auto-shoot, it has a special digital macro for distances no more than 3.5 inches! Wow! That's on my afternoon reading agenda.... :-)

I've been looking at these close-ups....I think I'll need to get the lint brush out for his little navy jacket....

Ira, I don't usually like figures in my dollhouses/vignettes...I prefer to showcase them on their own. However, I knew I needed the White Rabiit here, I knew exactly where he was going AND I knew who would render him perfectly! I couldn't be happier if he sprang to life and told me I was late....

I love him especially the pink in his face which makes him so realistic. A fabulous showcase piece.
The garden also looks marvellous with all the mixed flowers.
Thank you for sharing the delphinium tutorial yours are beautiful.

he is truly amazing and I think one of the best things Debie has done....just wonderful.

I've got a fancy camera that is more intelligent than me as well lol. I read the manual but it may as well be in Japanese. I've been looking to see if I can take a class somewhere.

My macro is great but you can't disable the flash in that mode which is stupid.
